Happy with Second

18x24" Watercolor Portrait Here is a whimsical painting of a girl emerging from the pool. She proudly displays her ribbon completely happy with the second place prize. The red colors give the painting energy and the balletic gesture of the arm makes for an arresting composition. This painting was included in the 2005 Best of Westchester Waterworks at Iona College and also display at the Bendheim Gallery in Greenwich Connecticut.
