Whenever I travel I bring along my sketchbook and camera so I can record ideas for future artworks. I also live in New York City's backyard making that a frequent subject but I also have paintings of Puerto Rico, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod.

My children are wonderful musicians and they bring music into my life. I also love to go to concerts and be inspired by the drama of a live performer. I like to listen to music as I paint.

In this gallery find my most creative experiemnts. The geometric zen like paintings are done using color as the subject. I took my inspiration from popular colors in decorating magazines and furniture catalogs and created complicated soduku like patterns
Often, I go to museums and I like to experiment with whatever inspires me. Find crazy and creative paintings that may be a bit outside my usual style.

I am probably best known for my figurative paintings. These have been the most widely collected of my subjects online. All of the drawings are done from life with a live model. The finished paintings are completed with more careful work in the studio, also using a live model. I welcome your intimate commissions.
