Detail

The watercolor is photographed against a black background to show you the detail of the edge and the intricacy of the workmanship in the detail of the painting. Digital images do not do the painting justice!

About This Piece:

This awesome watercolor by Miriam Schulman depicts roses and baby's breath in a somewhat abstract manner. This piece would fit into both modern and traditional decorating styles. The watercolor is painted on 140 pound watercolor paper. The edges have been taped so there is a border of plain paper all the way around the artwork (see detail) and the edges are deckled all the way around. The painting may be framed either with a traditional mat on top or floated on top of a mat to show off the raw edges. The background is full of gorgeous abstract details with dark blues and lavenders. There is a lot of emotion in the play of paint, light water and air. It is a stunning piece.
