Here is a large and fun abstract painting of the amusement park in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The artist took her children there on a recent vacation and was inspired by the shapes and colors of the roller coaster and the ferris wheel. This painting would look equally at home in a modern living room or a children's bedroom. The art is signed by the artist.
Exhibited at galleries and selected for prestigious juried shows throughout the New York tri-state area, Schulman's works are also included in private collections internationally. She has been published in The New York Times, and was recently a winner at Waterworks in Westchester. Schulman's uniqueness comes from her mastery of watercolor for portraits. The artist studied art and art history while at Dartmouth College and then pursued a Masters degree at M.I.T and a career on Wall Street. She left Wall Street and the hedge fund world behind in 2000 in order to pursue her passion for art full time.
