About This Piece:
This piece was inspired by haystacks. After doing a more representational piece of haystacks I was intrigued by the circular shapes of the hay bales. I decided to exploit that theme in this piece. Thirty-six circles make up the composition. 36 is a lucky number (two times chai) but also representative of 360 degrees of a circle. Many of the circles glow with metallic paint. The colors shift in the light. In between the circles is sky blue paint that has embedded glass beads in the paint adding additional sparkle and texture. The sides of this dynamic artwork are painted a metallic bronze. This piece is purchased custom framed.
